challange

OPPO were looking to drive audiences to enter its #Reno2DarkChallenge; they wanted consumers to enter via its website where they could submit their own videos for a chance to win an invitation to the ultimate masterclass for filmmaking/photography with a premium YouTube filmmaker and an OPPO Reno 2. The main challenge was finding and selecting the right creators who had an interest in photography, and who shared this interest with their followers.

approach

Viral Talent utilised its third party software to conduct a search for the right creators who had large audiences in the target regions - UK, France and Italy. The sponsored content that the creators produced needed to engage consumers; therefore it was important for us to select creators who regularly interacted with their audience on the topic of photography. The creators were expected to produce content that encouraged their followers to enter the competition and instructed them on how to take part. Creators were also asked to share the photos they had taken themselves for the challenge to give their audience the feeling that they were doing it together.
